Let’s enjoy the holiday lights in style, in our own party bus, at one of two special December Mom’s Night Out events!
About this Event
Join us in celebration of the season with a Christmas Lights Tour on our PARTY BUS. We’ll take in the sights and sounds of this holiday season with our SMS village, while enjoying the best holiday lights displays in town! This is one of two special December Mom’s Night Out events! (Seeking an earlier, mellower celebration, see our second Holiday Lights Tuk-Tuk event!)
We will have a Secret Santa gift exchange on the bus. You are welcome, but not required, to participate. Participants should spend no more than $15 on their “white elephant” gift. You are also welcome to bring your own beer or wine (glass bottles or hard liquor are not allowed, please drink responsibly). We will also stop for for pizza and drinks on the way.
We’re removing the loneliness of single parenting! Every month, Single Mom Strong gives you 3-4 opportunities to connect with other local single mothers. One of those opportunities is our monthly Mom’s Night (or Day) Out event. Get to know other local single moms while you “refill your cup”. Our MNO events are opportunities to get together with women of similar circumstances and share new experiences. At these events, there is plenty of time to discuss challenges or wins and share ideas or resources, while also just enjoying a fun break.
Childcare in our licensed childcare facility is always available during our Mom’s Night Out events, but it fills quickly, so register as soon as you know you can attend. We will meet at the Empowerment Center (7525 Auburn Blvd #5 Citrus Heights, CA 95610) at 5:45pm to check children into childcare, WHETHER OR NOT YOU UTILIZE CHILDCARE, we will all meet there. If you are utilizing childcare, you MUST arrive no later than 5:45pm to check (pre-registered) children into childcare. We will board the bus at 5:50 and leave promptly at 6:00. Children will be served pizza for dinner. PLEASE CHOOSE ONE of our two December MNO events. Tickets for the same person will not be honored for both events.
