Alvin Duke: Prepare to be amazed by the comedic stylings of Alvin Duke as he delivers a performance that’s equal parts clever and hilarious. His unique perspective and sharp wit will have you rolling with laughter from start to finish!
Hannibal Thompson: has been pursuing his dream of becoming a comedian/Actor since he was a young boy. The Veteran Stand Up Comedian and Instagram Sensation Has been performing and studying acting, drama, sketch, and stand-up comedy since he was eight years old. The California native has graced the stage at clubs all over the world including 5 USO tours in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 in countries like Korea, Japan, Kuwait, Guam and Abu Dhabi. 6 tours of western Canada. About the Guild Theater

The Guild Theater, located at 2828 35th Street in Sacramento’s historic Oak Park neighborhood, has been a cultural landmark since its original opening in 1915. Designed and financed by Joseph Lewis, it was the largest of three theaters on 35th Street at the time.

Over the years, the theater has undergone several transformations, including periods as the Oak Park Theater, Victor Theater, and New Oak Park Theater. In 1952, it reopened as the Guild Theater, featuring a modern marquee and seating for 467 patrons. After a phase of decline and vacancy, the theater was revitalized and is now managed by St. HOPE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to community development through public education, civic leadership, economic growth, and the arts.

Founded in 1989 by former Mayor, NBA star and Oak Park resident Kevin Johnson, the St. HOPE organization accepted the challenge of restoring the Guild Theater after it had been vacant for many years, finishing the full restoration in 2003.
