We expected to see either no newsletter, or a newsletter without the "Financial Corner."
You got a newsletter without the financial information. We knew this would be likely, because we know the reserve situation essentially can not improve. The financial situation certainly will not improve under the "leadership" that led you into this.
They are hiding the reality from you.
More comments to come about this edition of "The Edgewood Voice." I'm just not quite sure where to start. There is a lot to unpack. Spoiler: It is all very bad.
We are also experiencing plumbing anomalies. How many others? You are supposed to have reserves established to take care of these things—you have already been paying into the reserve fund, and continue to pay into it. All this will just add to the assessments this board has mismanaged you into having to pay. Forget the $4167 figure. It goes up monthly.
Remember, $4167 wasn't to solve all your problems. This board has buried you much deeper than that. This figure was to get your head just above the water. You are living paycheck-to-paycheck.
A reserve study is a vital capital planning tool for HOAs and condominium associations that provides directional guidance and an in-depth analysis of community assets. This study thoroughly examines the property and reserve fund status to establish a prioritized schedule of capital improvement projects and a reserve funding plan to pay for them over the next 30-years.
We can state that the Board provided false information to the Accounting Firm/Consultants, The Browning Reserve Group.
Curious. No one has claimed any Board members communicated via this website. I do believe the Board is wearing out their F5 buttons, though. Of course, means of communication do exist beyond this website. Some communications from Board members are displayed on this website through screenshots of text and email messages. Some communications are not.
For example, this communication occurred during a board meeting on 10/15/2024, to an audience of member homeowners. This communication is described on this website. We report the news and events directly to all residents of the Edgewood community, neighborhood, and any other interested members of the public, worldwide.
This Board is in lockstep, isn't it. Why have nine board members?
Apparently, all communications within the Edgewood, A Private Community's boundaries are controlled by the state. This is said in the same issue in which "talking" is pointed out to be a potentially noxious activity. I understand it says, "loud," but who decides?
Those noxious activities seem awfully like a thinly-veiled threat to the residents with regards to this recall effort.
You are being reminded that they can cause you lots of problems over just about anything.
I am considering my response regarding the mention of the security cameras. What I can say is the newsletter will be included as the board's official response to my RFI complaints.
I am glad I waited to file with the FCC.

Well as I figured no newsletter in my mail box. Profiled again for thankfully not owning in the concentration camp. What the heck? More money on that stinking RV lot? Where the heck are you getting the money for that? 8% left ain’t much, and how about finishing the paint in the complex? How about home repairs? How about owning up to being a blatant liar about the funds? Maybe we should check your pockets? Maybe we should think about what goes into a “citizens arrest”? I’m astonished that owners might take this laying down. Anything worth having you have to fight for. If it has no cost it has no value. And your paying alot for what? Don’t be a door mat. Be encouraged, stand up and be counted and use your voice!
Who in their right mind would trust these people with even more money? Especially with a new clubhouse slush fund.
