Edgewood Call To Action
This website is a call to action for all residents of the Edgewood community.
In order to make real change in our community, we must be able to easily and effectively communicate with one another. This website’s primary function is that of a discussion forum.
As many of you know, I hit the pavement and knocked on doors and flagged down residents walking and driving within Edgewood. While talking with our neighbors, I repeatedly felt a sense of isolation from many in the community. People are frustrated and unhappy with how they are treated by this HOA, while feeling alone and powerless to do anything about it. They didn’t realize so many others in the community feel the same way they do.
We want to fix that.

You will need to login to post in the forum. You may use any username you like for privacy. Find the login menu on the forum page or click the Forum Login button. Click “New Post” to write a new forum post. If you need help, please email or call and I’ll take care of you. It is very important that we hear your stories. It all needs to be brought out into the open and documented.
As you are all likely well aware, most of us are not happy with the current state of the Edgewood community. We have a board of directors who are not acting on behalf of the will of the community.
We are calling for the resignations of Pat Burden, Russ Skutley, and Marilyn Masters.
I made an effort to speak with everyone I could in the Edgewood community, regarding their opinions of the board. Most everyone I spoke with was not only unhappy with the board, but most had stories to share of mistreatment, sometimes to the point of abusive. At best, they were simply ignored and blocked when they had serious concerns or issues to address.
What we have is deteriorating property, a board that is disinterested in the the member’s needs, but has no problem spending substantial sums on “needs” that seem to mostly benefit the board members. Edgewood has a cultural history of particularly nasty and authoritative boards. We must crush that culture. It is a culture that spans decades.
Let’s move our fine community forward. We can’t keep doing the same thing for another 20 years. We all deserve much better, and we can have much better. We have ideas and determination.
We need a clear path.
