Local Executives donate their time every Friday, so you may benefit from a 1-on-1 virtual coaching session customized to you and your career goals! Most employment resources and coaching services are either very basic or very expensive, so Single Mom Strong built a no-cost, in-depth and personalized coaching service with powerhouse coaches who cater to the specific career advancement needs of single mothers. Wherever you are on your journey and whatever you need, they can help! Have your resume reviewed, practice mock interviews, discuss a change of industries or sort out long-term career goals. This hour is completely tailored to your needs. New or returning to the workforce? Or do you just find your confidence wavering? Our coaches can take you through a pre-employment readiness checklist, answering your questions related to your job search, such as the purpose/ appropriate content for cover letters, how to dress to make a great first impression, etc., preparing you on every level!

If helpful, you can even follow-up your coaching session by setting a personal shopping appointment in our Career Clothing Closet, where single moms have access to new and gently used professional clothing for FREE!
Please note: you must register at least three days in advance, in order for the coach to have a chance to review your resume. You will receive a confirmation email during the week of your appointment which will provide instructions for submitting your resume and preparing for your session. Zoom details will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the appointment. Members participate for free, and all other single moms contribute just $5 for this service.
