👩🏻🎨 About Artist Erin O’Brien:
I am a self-taught mixed media artist. My primary expression is through collage. Collage reflects the bits and pieces of our lives, woven together on paper, canvas or wood. I incorporate papers that I have printed, collected, and altered. My work will always have an element that can be touched – this is an invitation to the viewer to engage with the work not only visually but tactilely. I enjoy sharing my work with viewers who want to get up close and wander through the detail and touch the three dimensional aspects of my work. I thrive creating small pieces (between 4″ and 16″ square) – this size allows me to imbue each piece with a sense of intimacy.
