Chip-In Day brings the community together for a hands-on Earth Day volunteer effort focused on keeping Citrus Heights clean, green, and welcoming. Volunteers of all ages can take part in activities like litter removal, planting, and neighborhood beautification projects—no experience needed, just a willingness to help and connect with the community.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance through the city’s events calendar and arrive at the Community Center by 8:30 AM for check-in and a brief orientation. Comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and a reusable water bottle are recommended, with refreshments provided. This annual event is a great way to give back, meet neighbors, and make a visible impact.

Operating Hours:
The Event Center's administrative offices are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It's advisable to schedule an appointment prior to visiting, especially if you're interested in viewing the facility or discussing event reservations.
