Right after I spoke up at the October 15th board meeting, I received a violation notice. The letter was back dated a few days before the meeting date but was postmarked the 19th. The notice was for a landscaping violation. It was very vague with no specifics. Just that leaves touching a fence can damage it. No picture was included showing any vegetation in contact with the fence. I attached the violation letter in case anyone is interested.
I did respond to the management company and asked for a picture or specifics on which plant where on which fence they were concerned about. I also asked how they would know anything about my landscaping as my gate is locked. Of course they have yet to respond.
Now, if I do actually have an offending leaf touching one of the fences, I will immediately tie that back so as to become a more obedient homeowner to a tyrannical board. How much of our money is spent on sending out these semi threatening letters? I thought we were low on money.
Anyone else received a Violation Letter?
