I spoke with neighbors on Kingswood in-person today.
I went to speak with them primarily about the overgrowth of weeds encroaching into their backyards from the RV parking lot. This situation is discussed more here.
Two neighbors, thus far, have told me that it appears people are living in at least one RV in RV parking. Perhaps intermittently.
It's interesting because I do have a vehicle in RV parking, and on one or two occasions when I've been in RV parking to tend to my car, I have heard something from an RV. I just didn't think much of it at the time, and it was some time ago, perhaps earlier in the year/late last year, before the recall effort, before I was on the lookout for such things.
This neighbor, earlier this year, found the association's phone number and finally managed to get ahold of Pat. After explaining to Pat the problems (noise/music encroachment was the motivator for this neighbor), Pat fervently denied anybody could be living there, and didn't investigate, further. I assume it's Pat, as Pat's number is the only one listed anywhere, and the neighbor spoke with a woman.
I have asked the neighbors to write statements attesting to this. They said they'd be happy to. I'll get those soon. One especially understands our situation, as she has experienced issues like this with property management/HOAs in the past (not this terrible, though, fortunately.)
In the meantime, I'll let the community speculate as to exactly what the heck is going on. I have heard, from the residents of the Edgewood HOA community, about various allegations of improprieties regarding the Board and RV parking. I'm holding on to all that until I can better confirm. That confirmation effort is in progress. I'm talking about this particular issue now because these neighbors are willing to go on record, and have done so in the past (regarding weed encroachment).
Maybe Pat or other members of the Board can shed some light on this? I won't hold my breath. We will be keeping an eye on the RV parking lot.
Their dogs eat the weeds and get sick. Please get rid of them properly and promptly. That is a plea to the Association, not just the Board.
