Did anyone go to last night's board meeting? I was out of town. It would be great if someone could fill us in on what occurred and what was discussed.
I know Pat says everything is in the meeting notes in the next newsletter, but that is way, way condensed. I went to the September meeting, and over fifteen minutes were spent on how a homeowner is being harassed by a neighbor for putting her dog's feces in her own trashcan. It may sound funny, but the homeowner was sincerely concerned, and others who went got very involved. Nothing is mentioned in the newsletter.
So, what went on? Did Katbar5767 bring up RV lot fees? While she was trying to raise awareness and understanding of the issue, did you support her? Was the budget or reserves discussed? Was the electrical interference discussed? Were the problems we are causing the Kingswood residents discussed?
Many of you don't want to be visibly involved on this site, and we understand. If you are willing, create a new identity here and call yourself Little Bird. That way, we can say, 'A little bird told me...' I, for one, would appreciate it.
Silence is not the solution.
From what I understand, the meeting was not well attended. I heard around five people.
Hopefully, I can post more details later, but it would be incredibly helpful if anyone who attended could provide a synopsis for the rest of the Association. First-hand accounts are always better.
There is no archive, so no one other than the ~5 people in attendance can really understand what is happening in the community. There is no streaming, so if you couldn't attend, regardless of the reason—health, location, whatever—you are out of luck. Money and effort should, according to this Board—and ONLY this Board, be invested instead in privacy screening to block whatever shenanigans this Board is up to in the RV parking lot. Russell Skutley runs RV parking.
Communication outside of the Board's communication via The Edgewood Voice is actively discouraged. We learned this fact in the last The Edgewood Voice. Talking to your neighbors may result in a violation. Remember who decides if that talking is "loud talking."
