A person who lives on Kingswood found the website and emailed us seeking assistance with aggressive overgrowth from Edgewood's RV parking area that is intruding into her back yard. She requested that we address the maintenance issues in the community.
We want to thank board member Justin for his care and attention to the community and to this matter. We advised him of the neighbor's complaint, and he has quickly laid out an action plan to resolve it.
He is resourceful and found a way to resolve the issue with little or no cost to the association. We need more of this.
Great work.
image caption: I replied to her, explaining edgewoodhoa.org is likely the only communications channel available. We ourselves in this community usually can't effectively communicate with the board.

This still looks overgrown? I took this photo today (8/14/24). I reached out to the Kingswood neighbor to see if the Board has managed to resolve her problem. I'm not confident when looking at that picture.

This is an email exchange with the affected Kingswood Dr neighbor:
Previously, I had forwarded her original email complaint to Justin, who then forwarded the complaint, along with the the Kingswood neighbor's contact information, to Russ and Pat. That's where the ball dropped (of course).
The neighbor gave permission to post this.

Just a thought...
Several distinct and unique association members have told me stories about being reprimanded by Pat or receiving violations simply because of leaves—and in some cases, a single leaf, touching a fence.
Apparently, it's not really that big of a deal, especially when it is someone else's fence or when the board themselves are the cause.

I have at least one new report about the Edgewood townhome association causing a problem with another neighbor on Kingswood. Details are limited at the moment. This time, it does not involve overgrowth.
I'll update this post when I have more information.

I shouldn't be the one doing this. We have a board of directors, do we not?
We really do not, at least in leadership.

We obviously need a community website.

I have made direct contact with some neighbors on Kingswood. I still have more work to do, but we have gained some insight.
The Edgewood Homeowners Association seems to be causing problems for almost everyone on Kingswood who live near the RV parking area, along with the neighbors with the light pollution complaint. It looks like it may have been addressed by the board at some point in the past, at least work has been performed on the lights. Whatever the case, their attempts to fix or improve it have only made the light pollution situation worse. We are currently gathering more information about this problem. Again, this information comes from direct verbal communication with the neighbors. Landscaping overgrowth continues to be a problem.
The Kingswood neighbors are appreciative of our efforts.
I'll provide more information soon as we learn more.
Thanks, everyone.

Here is an update on the aggressive overgrowth affecting a Kingswood neighbor, first reported to the Board and this forum on July 24.

@shane-hill At least one board member is not a role model regarding trees and plants.
Here is an update on the weeds/overgrowth. First reported to the Edgewood HOA Citrus Heights Board on 2024/07/24.
Edgewood is causing (4) separate and significant problems for the Kingswood Drive residents.

Update:
Since this issue was reported to the Edgewood HOA Citrus Heights Board on July 24, 2024, nothing has been done to rectify the problem.
Apparently, these weeds are growing through the fencing and beneath the home's decking, at least according to the resident I spoke with. This is causing multiple homeowners significant problems.
The Edgewood Association is causing these residents a total of four significant problems.
This Association is very broken.
edit: The Board is issuing bogus violation notices to vocal homeowners—over leaves that don't exist. Posted notice is here.
