If you wish to address the Council during the meeting, please fill out a Speaker Identification Sheet and give it to the City Clerk. When called, step to the podium and state your name for the record.
Speakers are normally limited to three (3) minutes each, with 30 minutes total for public comments. Any additional public comments may be heard at the conclusion of the agenda. The Mayor may lengthen or shorten times at their discretion.
Prefer to comment in writing? Submit by 4:00 p.m. on meeting day via the online Speaker Card: City Council Speaker Card. Written comments are limited to 250 words and will be read aloud by the City Clerk.

(b) Adopt Ordinance No. 2025-007 amending CHMC Chapter 38 relating to Fire Prevention and Protection and adopting by reference Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District Ordinance No. 2025-02 and the 2025 California Fire Code.
