Read to a Dog |

Come read to some PAWsome pooches! School-age readers are invited to read to furry and friendly canine volunteers and their trainers. This is a great program for struggling and reluctant readers or for those who enjoy practice. The dogs are wonderful listeners. Woof!

Kids are invited to practice their skills by reading aloud to a certified therapy dog (and their handler). Attendees may bring a book to read or choose one at the Library.

This program is designed for kids (ages 6-12). Struggling and reluctant readers are encouraged to attend, as are readers who would like some additional practice. No registration is necessary; drop-ins are welcome.
